     Excerpt

     Extra Information
  • In 1997, the movie version of I Know What You Did Last Summer hit the theaters. Lois Duncan hated the movie. Presently, this is probably one of Lois Duncan's most well-known novels.

  • The new 2006/2007 cover issued by Random House (the one located on the top right of this page) depecits the villain from the movie version of I Know What You Did Last Summer--with the fisherman suit and hook. The blurp even states "the bestelling novel and blockbuster movie". Even today, 10 years later, the publisher's are using the movie to lure unsuspecting buyers (even when the book is completely different from the movie).
