     Summary
A child who dreams of horses

Flies fast and far at night

And travels miles of moon-trail

Before the sky grows bright.

So begins the remarkable picture book, a fantastic dream voyage. A young girl rides a flying horse high above breathtaking landscapes and escapes dangerous wolves, only to land safely again in her warm, cozy bed.

Donna Diamond's luminous full-color illustrations are beautifully suited to Lois Duncan's evocative dream imagery. This nocturnal adventure is a perfect bedtime story, and is sure to be asked for again and again.
